Movies in Theaters vs at Home?
Movies as a whole has become a staple a lot of peoples lives. We can watch them anywhere and anytime. The problem that I see a lot now, is that people are going less to the Theaters and preferring to watch it on a streaming platform. While I believe that these are both great things, I do find it sad that people are not going to the theaters less. The best part of watching a movie is the experiences and memories that people make, and a lot of the time it comes with others. And the best place to do so, is in the theaters. I think a common trend I find is that movies are way too expensive. Which is completely true, movie tickets now are around $20 per person and not including sacks that even more expensive then they should be. And that comes out to $40 per movie night out. And with money being tight for a lot of people for a lot of different reasons, people have the option of waiting a few months for it to come to your streaming platform and saving $30 plus. Thus, the appeal for at home is much more cheaper but at what cost. While you get to watch in your own home, you lose out on the visuals that sounds that come with quality of being in a theater.
